We met in 2013
Joe grew up in Peabody, MA and Ellen grew up in Beverly, MA, and although we had many of the same friends and went to the same places, we were different ages so our paths didn’t cross until two friends set us up (repeatedly!). A dinner, a walk on the beach, and we have pretty much been together since.
We “made it official” in February of 2015 on a vacation to Fort Lauderdale - our first flight together of many to come. Since then, we have traveled to Miami, Tampa, Alabama, Nashville, New York City, across Northern New England & Upstate New York, The Azores, Aruba, Amsterdam, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Vallarta, Paris, and Bodrum. We love the adventures travel brings.
We moved in together around 2016 and officially put roots down in Beverly. In 2020, we bought the house across the street from Ellen’s parents, and two towns away from Joe’s. Renovating our home has been a labor of love and it’s our favorite place to be. It’s where Joe proposed on Ellen’s birthday, June 9, 2024.
Our lives together are full of fun: in addition to travel, we enjoy time on the boat, motorcycle rides, skiing/snowboarding, spending time with our families and friends. Dressing up in coordinating costumes for Halloween is always a laugh.
After our wedding, our next stop is Bali, Indonesia to enjoy our honeymoon!
